About the gemstones

• An uplifting, soothing stone, Angelite blue is said to carry a calming energy and vibrate on clear communication and intuition, and even has curative properties for direct healing.

• Green Serpentine is a unique stone formed of crystal-like minerals, ranging from lime green to deep pine. This stone is said to stimulate the digestive and glandular system, and acts as a shield to counteract invasive vibrations.

• Creamy Soapstone varies from pink to gray to yellow tones, depending on the mineral composition. It is valued for helping one prepare for change, promoting rational and creative thinking.

Is the Tangram authentic?

Yes! Our Tangram follows the original seven-piece design of the classic puzzle. The difference is that each piece is hand-carved from natural Andean gemstones instead of traditional wood or plastic, giving it a more tactile weight and feel to enjoy while keeping the same playful, analytical experience.

What is the Tangram made from?

The Tangram is made from a colorful mix of natural, semi-precious Andean gemstones including Angelite, Serpentine, Orange Jasper and various soapstones. Each of its seven pieces is hand-carved by our artisan teams in our workshops in Pacasmayo, Peru. The stones naturally vary in color and pattern, so no two sets look exactly alike.

How do I take care of it?

Wipe the pieces with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive materials. The stones are made to be handled, but they can chip if dropped onto a hard surface. If a piece does chip, ceramic adhesive or high-quality super glue can solve most minor repairs.
