Dumortierite, found in quartz within the Canta Lima Andes of Perú, forms under intense heat in aluminum-rich rock. Known as a stone of self-reliance and discipline, it is said to foster patience and order. The little-known Andean Angelite, or Celestine, stone with provenance from the Arequipa Andes of Perú, is an uplifting and soothing stone.
