We have always been wildly impressed by the beautiful natural stones that Peru offers. As so many of you appreciate knowing more about the characteristics of the stones we use, and so we are sharing with you!
01 / ESTEATITE SOAPSTONE
This dark purple piece of soapstone is caused by the unique mineral composition and recrystalization process, being likely higher in iron from the Each piece will vary from creamy pink to creamy turquoise to creamy yellow depending on the mineral texture present in a given rock. 02 / ORANGE JASPER
Orange Jasper is a variety of quartz mixed with volcanic earth, forming its earth-like color which may vary in texture and veining. From the Canta Lima region in Peru.
This stone is considered the “Supreme Nurturer” and is a stone of grounding and stability, providing comfort and security.
On a metaphysical level, it allows one to be more present in the physical body and aware of nature and its surroundings.
03 / RHODONITE PINK
The Rhodonite stone is formed of potent energtic properties, utilized as a restorative tool to boost energy and fulfill potential. Composed of silicate and manganese, materials which uplift the circulatory system to rejuvenate the heart. Also said to promote fertility and strength in the ears and teeth.
04 / ANGELITE, SISTER TO CELESTINE
This milky blue stone is found in small egg-shaped white rocks in the Andes of Arequipa in Peru. Angelite is a lesser known form of celestite that has been compressed for millions of additional years.
This uplifting and calming stone is believed to carry soothing energy linked to the third eye and crown chakras, vibrating on clear communication and intuition.
Angelite resonates with the throat, relieving inflammation and balancing the thyroid. It is also said to balance fluids throughout the body by strengthening tissues and vessels.
05 / SERPENTINE GREEN
The serpentine family constitute a group of minerals that are characterized by not presenting themselves in the form of crystals. On a physical level, the serpentine has several healing properties to stimulate the digestive and cardiac system and promote the secretion of the different glands. Its calming properties would help calm migraine pain and tension, both nervous and muscular.

06 / DUMORTERITE BLUE
Dumortierite crystals are found within quartz and crystals, formed under high temperatures in metamorphic rocks that are rich in aluminum. Provenence is from Lachaqui in the Canta Lima Andes of Perú.
Dumortierite is believed to be a stone of self-reliance and discipline. It is said to promote patience and orderliness, perhaps why it is used to manufacture high grade porcelain.
The stone is also said to raise one’s intuition, perhaps related to it being credited for aiding memory – we recommend this to anyone studying for tests or when saving notes to remind of someone important.
07 / BANDED ONYX CREMA
Banded Onyx is a striking quartz-based mineral, displaying striated patterns ranging from white to honey to coffee.
Is a metamorphic stone from the Andes of Arequipan in Peru.
This stone is associated with grounding energy, vitality and motivation. A stone of regeneration, onyx is invigorating when used on the feet, promoting a connection with the roof chakra.
Believed to improve the function of the nervous system and sensory organs, especially those of the ear.
08 / BLACK ONYX
Black Onyx is formed from fine-grained quartz native to the Andes of Arequipan in Peru.
This stone has a long history related to the root chakra, providing grounding energy, dispelling negative energy, and providing release and preservation.
On a metaphysical level, this stone is believed to relieve ailments bones and skin by stimulating the glandular system, thereby alleviating pain and tension.
