In the heart of the Peruvian jungle, a chance meeting between designer Jenny Boucher and industrial designer Mauricio Navarro ignited the idea for DAR Proyectos. Jenny brought a lifelong passion for textiles; Mauricio, a drive to reinvent indigenous craft. Their shared vision has since evolved into a studio where cultural heritage meets playful design.
Our pricetag is higher, but for good reason. Consider this: when you shop for a gold ring, you know there is value in the material.

Gemstones are usually used in a way that says look, don’t touch. That’s not us. We want to actually appreciate them. Our designs are tactile and interactive – designed to awaken a sense of play.

Unfortunately, our artisans won’t be able to compete with China to produce their decor forever. Once the demand drops, so will their business. By valuing design and heritage craft, we’re preserving their traditions and creating long-term economical solutions.
